Croatia is a safe destination in 2021

(Dubrovnik, 25 February 2021) After the Minister of Tourism and Sports Nikolina Brnjac and the Director of the Croatian Tourist Board Kristjan Staničić presented the Safe stay in Croatia project at today's press conference, Gulliver DMC has already received a safety label.

The Safe stay in Croatia project enables guests to identify destinations, accommodation and transport providers, tourist attractions, etc. that have adopted national and world standards of health and hygiene more easily, so that in 2021 Croatia continues to work on its recognition as a safe destination due to good epidemiological situation last year.

In addition to the already known World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) label Safe Travels, which Croatia has received since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, a national safety label called Safe stay in Croatia has been designed. The label is an important element in presenting Croatia as a safe and desirable destination, which applies safety and health protocols and supports the vaccination of tourism professionals, but also in showcasing individual business entities. Gulliver DMC has recognized the label as an important contribution to the business and continuous adherence to epidemiological measures.

In 2020, the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) created the label Safe travels for safe travel worldwide, to help travellers identify destinations and companies that adopted world standards of health and hygiene, and Gulliver DMC received it together with the label Safe Stay in Croatia.
